Yes, yes, we know it has been a while since we published a new post. But hey, continuously creating content just for the sake of feeding the social media hunger with not really important information – is tiring. Who wants to read all that crap?
But now we have some more substantial news to share. Recently we added three new tiles on our website which show how busy we have been.

In 2024 Frank and Meryn Cooper (an author of children books and former PR manager of Queensland Ballet) worked on an album and song book for children (aged 6 to 11 years). For more detailed information please click on Pretzel Poem Project. The album is available on all streaming platforms (try https://frankfrikker.bandcamp.com/album/pretzel-poem-project ). PPP took their program to the Maleny Music Festival in 2024 and 2025 and to Brisbanes City Council’s libraries.

Once on the humorous/satirical track Frank and Meryn started a new project in 2025: Mavis and The Man – “International Cabaret Convention”. First gigs turned out very promising and we might have detected a market niche. Given sufficient resources an EP and festival appearances are planned for 2026.

Wolf’s Tales have been working on new songs in 2025. So far 5 songs have made it through a first recording. Some more material needs to be tested and worked on before a new album can be promised. However, now having our own studio we can do the ground work, see how it sits with us after leaving a new song untouched for a while, look for improvements, search for support from guest musicians that play instruments we don’t.
So, considering that the music industry is basically broken and controlled by just 4 major companies, that one can hardly make a living with creating music and good lyrics, we are quite busy while struggling to balance the ups and downs and craziness of life.
