Having been working with the band for 2 years now it seemed time for finding a good band name. Frank Frikker and Band keeps me as the songwriter clearly in front but does not sound too exiting.

We created a temporary name too: Frank & The Fuse. Having satirical/humorous songs in our sets this name somewhat hinted at the humorous nature of the band members. Still, it did not really satisfy me.

My parents gave me the middle name “Wolf” which was the name of my uncle. I never knew what to do with it. I never used it; it only appeared in my passport, birth certificate etc.

But Wolf also stands for the animal and has the same meaning in English. I am not loving the image of the lonely wolf but to me wolves are somewhat mysterious animals. As most of my songs actually tell stories Wolf’s Tales came to mind.

Finally a friend of mine being a graphic designer liked the idea and created a logo for us. So now we perform as Wolf’s Tales featuring the songwriter Frank Frikker. Lets see where this takes us.
